Puffie is a TICA star!!

A few weeks ago I had the honour to take photos of two very fluffy Ragdoll cats. Unlike my own Bengals, these cats are super chill.

The owner wanted a blue background similiar to that used by TICA. I found a brand new blue velvety wallpaper for the background and a blue chaise for the cat to stand or sit on. Both were found on FB Marketplace. I really liked the texture of the wallpaper as I felt it added depth and luxuriousness to the image. And, the blue was spot on.

As always, I schedule either a morning or an afternoon session for my clients leaving us ample time to get the shots needed. I never rush a session and let the cats or dogs decide when it’s time to wrap up. Beside the standard profile and head on shot we also decided to capture Puffie’s fun side. His pink pads are over the top with cuteness!

A few days after the photo session Puffie captured 4 Best Premier finals including a 2nd Best and a 6th Best at the TICA show in Toronto (May 2026).
